The Fungal Genetics and Bioinformatics group of CIALE (Centro Hispano-Luso de Investigaciones Agrarias) of the University of Salamanca is recruiting applicants for a postdoctoral fellowship through the Spanish national program (MINECO, Ministerio de economía y competitividad), opening February 2014. The program supports 2 year postdoctoral salaries for individuals who have received their Ph.D. within the past 3 years and is open to all nationalities. We are recruiting candidates with at least 6 publications (with at least 3 as first author), with prior postdoctoral experience and with good English language skills. Research projects will be in the areas of fungal genetics, molecular plant microbe interactions, biotechnology, or fungal bioinformatics, depending on the skills and interests of the applicant.
